Get involved by volunteering to be part of a committee or council at the local or state level. Being a committee member is an easy way to give back to the profession while learning more about organized dentistry and how it protects and benefits dentists. Both FWDDS and the TDA are looking for members who want to make a difference and help to shape the future of their profession.

Here are some open opportunities to consider:

• Committee Members for Continuing Education
• Committee Members for Membership Recruitment and Retention
• Committee Members for Peer Review (you will need to complete the TDA Training program to be part of this committee)

Texas Dental Association

• Council members for CAMCEP (Council on the Annual Meeting and Continuing Education Programs
• Council members for CLRA (Council on Legislative, Regulatory, and Governmental Affairs.
